We visited our schools meet with the teachers, discussed updates and ways to improve the program. Teachers shared their stories of success and offered insights on improving the service.

Volunteers were impressed with the staff and the operation,. Each volunteer found a need and service to perform such as: new teaching techniques, more material, and opportunities to help the children to grow and be engaged.

We also had meetings with the parents to share the highlights of their children’s progress which further cemented both the need and the importance of the appearance of the volunteers. Afterwards each of the volunteers asked that if ever there was a future need they would make themselves available to continue to help and support the program, both financially and volunteering.

The mere presence of the volunteers was enough to show the children how important they are to not only the school but to the future of their families.
